It is time to book & pay a £50 deposit. To keep life simple please can you book your rooms direct with the CB Inn. Please quote 'The Classic Porsche event' when booking. If you want to stay there Sunday night they do a 3 night rate.

When you have booked your room please let me know so I can put a cross next to your name :)

If you are not on the list above, please let me know before booking as according to the list we have now filled the CB Inn. Luckilly The CB Inn is in a location where there are plenty of other hotels & B&B's so I can arrange more accomodation & the local taxi service will transport you to & from the CB for the evening get togethers :)

www.cbinn.co.uk

There are 18 rooms available , and due to its location we will eat there Friday night and Saturday night.

Prices:

£ 120 per person Dinner Bed & Breakfast for 2 nights accomodation based onto 2 people sharing ( Standard Room )

£ 135 per person Dinner Bed & Breakfast for 2 nights accomodation based onto 2 people sharing ( Superior Room )

SINGLE PEOPLE.... There is a single suppliment of £20 PER NIGHT for the standard room. If any of you singles are good enough friends with other singles then there are 'twin rooms' available at the standard rates. ( If there are less than a total of 3 singles the single supplement does not apply)

IMHO these prices are good. It works out at £60 pppn incl. Dinner.... which inturn effectivily means the cost is approx £40pppn B&B :)

:)

I thought the 3 night was approx £180? I'm not sure if that was a discounted rate or not?

The Problem is the CB Inn is very popular so doesn't need to offer discounts etc

James, I've earned a 'd' this evening, deposit paid, room booked: erm just need to make sure I've got a suitable car* at the time of the weekend  .

Just out of interest, after booking my (single sup.) room, they still have two rooms left for the 11/12th: I think they were both posh ones.

* Looking at options for the fleet at the moment: the Hornet is pretty safe, as it allows me to do some creative bodywork, TR and 914 a bit more flexible, as I've got someone keen to have the TR finished to his spec, and I really miss the 911, so there might well be some fleet shuffling in the new year .... we'll see. In the meantime, roll on the Spring!
