A beaten up old Targa might work - you could probably get a bike in the back with a bit of effort although you would have to take the roof off and not be too precious about the upholstery.

If you are going to dismantle it you could probably get it in the front boot too although I gather the later models have less room in the front than mine does.

You can fit a bike in an early 911 coupe.
I think if the 911 was a bit tatty, you’d make the grade.

If it was for example bright green with stickers and a ducktail tho, you’d definitely have to accept there’d be some whispering w@n Ker at you

I own an imperfect 964 Targa. Which I thought wasn’t a bad bet. I’ve had a full suspension bike across the back with the wheels off, no bother. But friends tell me it’s a flash wan ker’s car. I don’t see it that way, but to lots of people a 911, or any Porsche, is definitely ostentatious.

A tatty E type coupe might be an idea though...

Stick with the Targa. Don't wash it too often. Accept a few dents and scratches. Stick some cartoon characters on it. Snoopy? Have fun in it. It is just a car. Pamper your bike if you have to.

I think Jb's right, you need to increase your vehicle's common appeal and make it more cuddly.

How about a 944? Cheap enough to buy and do what you want with, enough room inside or on top for a bike, the people that know will respect the choice, those that don't aren't offended by it's understated design and inoffensive exhaust....?

You’re obviously referring to an Alfa SZ Zagato. My bike goes in quite easily. I reckon the people you were trying to impress won’t speak to you anyway when you’ve been out for a few miles on your bike and arrived back at your swanky hillside hotel covered in snot, sweat and insects!

I get the "all 911s are for w@nkers" theory. But not sure it applies to properly old ones, by which I mean anything with chrome on it.
I notice much more apparent goodwill when driving my old one than I get in the 993 (or in moderns). It's one of the appeals of an old car.
Reckon you'd be pretty safe in an e type, too, as long as not too pristine.
964 is too new.
I'm sticking with my Espada shout. Old enough and chromey enough.
How about a Bristol of some sort?
