Will do James - there is no need to worry, I've already confirmation that we can have the same area, and yes the shade from the trees made mornings a joy. Andrew was very happy to have DDK and I know he's keen to have us back. I'll chat with him before LM24 to get a heads up on price but I'm hoping it will be the same as 2018 - see no real reason why not - then see him at LM24 anyways. Will email you once I've spoken to him - roll on 2020.......

Booked my accommodation in September following the advise of fellow DDK'ers. So I won't be camping, but hopefully will get chance to catch up with you guys before / during / after.

Put me down for a space again, please! Hopefully my 964 won't be a dick this time, although the aircon in the GTI was very appreciated on the journey down last year...
...we fixed it when we got back to NL, then drove down to Stuttgart the next day. Where I boiled the clutch fluid in heavy traffic and near 40 degree heat.

Ahh - the GTI man..... As you didn't bring a Porsche last year there may be a penalty for 2020, something like....... you buy everyone beer, every day... the end,.

How does that fit.....?

I'll bring a crate of good Dutch beer and everyone can help themselves, but when it's gone, it's gone. Deal? :drunken:

Cheers Robin,
that early morning shade at the campsite was a god send. Even made for a rather pleasant lie in :)

Hope to be there in something period correct next time and not the 997TT Starship Enterprise. Was all very comfortable but just not the real thing.

Count me in for 2020, really enjoyed last year but would be better to travel and stay with the DDK brigade. Will probably take the camper again though it was blooming hot last year.

Please count me in for camping again too, and I should have my 911 running again by then rather than bring the red Italian again... sadly not that lovely 308 parked nearby, but my wife’s Panda 100hp

Hi Guys,

I was speaking to Andrew from TD yesterday regarding CLM20 and yes the same pitch, ie. the whole left hand side of the campsite, is ours to do with as we please - i.e. free camping anywhere to the left of the access road - we just need to confirm with him by September this year if we want it or not? If we have similar interest as we did in 2018 then no reason why not, and as in 2018 I'm happy to organise on behalf off DDK for a schoner of sherry or similar.

If DDK want me to discuss anything in particular with Andrew regarding CLM20 then let me know as I'll be meeting up with him at LM24 this year, also if any other DDK'er are at LM24 this yeat then give me a shout and we'll grab a beer if possible.

Robin ... take it as a yes we do want the same again . Last year was a great success and all the old DDK clm'ers really prefered the campsite to all the others we have used over the years. CLM had started to lose its shine a bit having been going since 2004 but I'd put 2018 as one the best

What we will do by sept is get a good indication of initial numbers 8)
