Still a bit on the fence here. Fancy the idea but seems excessive to drive a non-Porsche all the way with only 1 in the car. Anyone fancy a co-pilot in their Porker, to share the driving, fuel and chunnel/ferry costs ?
Don't worry about the sleeping arrangements - I'll bring my own tent

James/Robin

I'd like to join the trip if still possible - 2 in one car plus standard pitch?

Thanks

Not done CLM before are grand stand tickets worthwhile?

Thanks

HI Richard - thanks for the deposit - appreciated. I've been asked this before and some do, some don't. If I tell you that from the 64 individuals confirmed as going only 3 are taking grandstand tickets. IMO if you're into you racing and want to do that then yes, if not, there are plenty of other vantage points including our exclusive use of Porsche Curves (bring a camp chair) where you can watch. There is so much more to do and see, in the paddock, around the club enclosures, in the market stalls that most just watch from the trackside while soaking up the atmosphere......but it's up to you - more than happy to organise for you.

Ive had grandstands in the past generally never really used them fully as the best viewing areas are out from the circuit like Mulsanne or Arnage. As Robin says, we also have viewing trackside from the site ( which I'm quite excited by because I've camped Maison Blanche & Karting Nord trackside but never Porsche Curves )

The one Grandstand that IMHO is worth having if you can get tickets, is the ACO stand ( think tribune 18 ?? ) as that actually has a cafe , lovely toilets & showers etc etc
