Sorry, misunderstood. It may well have been repainted/recoated with something but it's squidgy...perhaps it has had a brush of waxoyl.

An update. New SSI heat exchangers fitted with porsche silencer. Suspension fitted - front inserts and rear Bilsteins. Oil leaks almost sorted - there is a small weep from the rear main bottom seal. Anything to be concerned about? I imagine it's a big job but if it's only a little drip is it better just to keep an eye on it?
Also, the oil pressure sits at around 4 bar (60psi?) when around 4000rpm and warm, It drops a little after a long fast run. I think this is a little on the low side but could be an ageing sender? I am running 10/40 mobil 1 so perhaps a thicker oil would be beneficial? No over heating issues etc. It's running very well with good power and sounds healthy.
