Re: Celette Fixture sets
Tom, I was over on Pelican and went through the thread titled something like "Show Me your RSR Replica". In that, there's a guy, like you, who has his own Celette. He got his to rebuild a badly rear-ended 73 (I think) 911, replacing most of the car's sheet metal....amazing achievment. He also has another useful goodie, a ProSpot high resistance, big clamping force industrial grade spot welder....probably a $18-20K machine, but pure magic. There's no end to the toys available to us. I'd want to add to that an axial flow compressor (quiet, near limitless air supply). But I don't doubt that when the time comes, you'll be able to sell it quite easily and not for a big loss, either. Kind wishes, John

Hi John,
Yes, I'm familiar w/that fellow. I chatted with him about buying his bench many years ago after he was through with it. Then I found the one I ended up with a few years later. His project really is spectacular in that he basically rebuilt his 911 from scratch panel-by-panel. I've got a folder with most of the photos he's posted on my hard drive for reference! I'd love to have a ProSpot welder too... maybe some day! Never enough tools. : )
