The 1st owner of my car contacted me with this photo. Not certain what year it was taken as he owned the 912 for 33 years!

Roof bars been blasted and Zinc'd. New felt lining in place ready for NOS headlining fitting. Both wings now in place and metal dash being sprayed. New petrol tank to be sprayed and fitted later in the week...

Cheers... I've nearly got my daily driver back :)

and got some Fuchs today as the original steel wheels looked bland against the black... Just got to decide what tyre to choose for the front?

Just caught up with this, great work looks fantastic , so hard to get black paint right ( or rather whats under it) it shows every ripple and bump yours looks ace I wouldn't have had the bottle :oops: How do you go so quickly :?:

Luckily my friend owns a paint shop so was trusted to get the black paint work spot on :)
Progress is steady... head lining in, paint nearly all polished. Only got phone camera but the finish is excellent.
