Keep posting those pics and soon Mike will swap you the 996 turbo for it :bom:

Man, what a fantastic package this car is: original, never butchered over the years, a hint of patina and a touch of your preference. Wow!

Just like Mike, I had such an original car with the 911SC and I should've never sold it. Good luck with it.

Best regards,

Bert

Hi Rich
Great looking car with a nice spec, but then as the owner of a LHD 72 "T" in sepia I maybe a little biased!

All the best

How are you finding the exhaust - looks good as does rest of car - hope you like it

Are you keeping the steel wheels or ever considering selling ?

Hi Paul,
Exhaust is great! A really nice low sounding rumble! As for the steelies, I am going to keep the ones I have, just inc ase I have a rethink! Hows the engine?

A little more work done over the last 3 weeks, in preparation to CLM. I took the car to Tuthills for a look over as the car was very lumpy in the lower rev band and to have a look at an oil leak I had. Francis tested the pump and it's right on spec but he needed to lean out the cold start by 60%.
The car has also had a new pulley seal, flywheel seal, new cam seals, they caught the chain ramps (broke in their hand, how lucky was I!!). To top it off, it has been corner balanced, aligned and serviced....... role on CLM. :)

I did enjoy a loving reunion at CLM and Rich kindly gave me the keys for a drive which made me realise again what a great car this is. Thanks for the opportunity Rich. Great you have now tracked most of the history and good to chat about the plans for the next stage.

This car has now just come up for sale in the US. I thought you might like to compare and contrast.

Thanks once again. Great to meet up with you and Steven again and share

Was discussing the sepia one with Chris in Seattle over the weekend. Not cheap but jesus that's one of the cleanest cars I've seen and with really appropriate upgrades.

Nice to meet you at CLM Rich - nice car :)

Rich your car is looking great fella, I must admit I was having a right good look around it at tuthills and was very envious of the owner, that sepia paintwork has such a great look about it. Glad you got your suspension all sorted in the end and was good to meet you at CLM.
