Too few unfortunately. Footie-mad kids with under 12 fixtures kill off most the weekend, so i tend to thrash around the Fens terrorising villagers, sheep, Saxos and do a few local-ish VW shows if possible...

The sincerest form of flattery! Cheers

I used to use r/c plane stickers in there but they get really hot, shrink and left a sticky patch (don't we all...). So I tracked down some 60's transfers, warmed up the hood and slid it on. It dried crackle finish which looks really old and gave it a coat of lacquer. Lovely

My avoidance of our legal duty to run a front licence plate got me thinking. After bending the arm of my local steel plate presser, I ordered some 'small' but wide plates and shortened a pair of 'spare' spare wheel belts to strap it on. Lovely. I drilled it to take some proper black 356 rivets for a factory look hopefully... you like?

I want some similar plates made up - where did you get then done?

They're from a car parts shop near my studio in Camden. Not cheap though: "smaller than motorbike plates? That'll be a 'special order' that'll be geezer, if you see what i mean mate..." Cost me 45 quid for a pair!
If your interested though send me your reg and size and i'll get a quote?

On and off again! Can't decide between the steels or the empis... so trying a set of ercos. Saw a VWDRC oval with media-blasted ones and they'd really look the business on the 356. Hard to track down though!

Use eurcos I think they would look really cool. Never seen a set on a 356. Dare to be different - Outlaw rules 8) 8) 8) 8)
