I have driven my '72 car into the pre '66 park a few times. Reason is simple - the guys who direct the traffic cannot tell a '66 911 from a '72 one (as is probably the case for most people who are not DDKers or enthusiasts) and don't seem to take any notice of the K plate. I'm sure that is why new Morgans get in as well.
A great day out though, or even a weekend. Amazing to see impressive vintage and classic cars raced at 10/10ths. I particularly like to see the GT races - E-Types duelling with Stingrays and Astons. I suppose our cars were just too late to make the cut.
