Those video's are great.
I loved watching those.
Quotes from them were very good...
'come on Mike' from James
'have you seen the funeral Directors on entry to the Mulsanne?' From Nicks mate.
or
'Lets see if I can get it sideways' from nick.
Anymore out there?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but just discovered that the guys at Autosure.nl have made their excellent vid of the 2006 Le Mans Classic available for download from their website. It's 36 minutes long and really good in my opinion. The sound is great and it brought back lots of memories of the event. Will take a while to download it but if you were there I think it's worth watching. If you weren't there I think it's worth watching!
There are some great details; the '356' clicking round on the odometer at the start, the footage of the cars moving through the crowd, the lines of GT40s and the low shots of the cars heading out on track in the night sessions, but the most surprising part about it is the food organised by the 356 Club of The Netherlands (The Van Houtens are Dutch 356 boys). I'm buying a 356, moving to the 'Dam and going with those guys in 2008!
Download it

The 356 boys were camped just next to us & did have some pretty impressive facilities

Well worth watching, especially for those of us that didn't make it

.
Really good to watch and about 2:14 into it I'm sure there's a black RS replica with an iffy 2.0T behind it - I believe both these might normally live in Scotland...
Nigel's care is also on the same shot.

Thanks guys!
Though, the video was only a first raw draft
Audio is now remastered and text added where needed to clarify everything for those who weren't there.
Due to the immens size of the file my site's bandwith was quickly exceeded and therefore the vid aint online anymore.
I won't put up the video on youtube, metacafe, google video or similair, because the online format does no justice to the quality and experience of the video.
You can order your copy for just €15,-. This includes the DVD and a full color box, supreme video and audio quality. Just send me a PM if interested.
Thanks,
Autosure team

Nice one Autosure, glad that someone else has a similar project on the go.
Yours would look good under the Christmas tree next to our own DDK trip DVD, no doubt.
You beat us to it with a trailer, although we'll have more extracts on youtube very soon...
