What car/engine is that case likely to be from originally?
1970 911T, Signal orange (Restoration thread)
1988 3.2 Carrera backdate, Black
2001 996 Turbo, Lapis blue (am I allowed to put that here?)
I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

I mentioned earlier I've seen good prices paid for clean examples in the USA. I'd guess $100k - $150k but wouldn't be surprised if it flew.

Not a Porsche but an unusual old air-cooled.

nice looking car and pretty original too :) . Pair of recaro sport seats in original trim would finish it off nicely 8)

I wonder if that’s the S that Nick Moss sold many years ago on DDK (for about £32k if I remember correctly). It was a low mileage Italian delivered metallic green 2.4S.

I don't think so Mike - the one Nick had came with a brown interior.

Nick resprayed it & added (repro ?) sport seats before putting it up for sale.

I seem to remember it took ages to sell - eventually going back to Italy.

It came to CLM one year
I thought he sold it as it was but could be mistaken
It did have a beige/brown interior

.

You might be right about the respray Thomas - in which case it could be the same car - if the Italian buyer opted to take the car 'as is' & had it resprayed in Italy.

Nicks car immediately sprang to mind when I saw the link and replied here but I’ve just checked the Vin from the for sale thread. You guys are right, not the same car.
