I've had two emails this evening looking to book and join us at Classic Le Mans and after speaking to Andrew at TD this evening I can confirm that we can still take more bookings. TD are very easy to work with and being frank we wouldn't get this level of lateness through normal channels. So if there are any last, last minute requests then let me know asap please.

Obviously full payment and before close of business this Friday 15th June - then we'll call it a day.

Small pitch car/tent for driver only £269 - Std pitch car/tent 2 people £420 (£210pp) - if different from the above - pm me. Payment; family and friend please via paypal titteringtonrobin@hotmail.com

If you want to go don't say that you haven't been given a last minute life line to go...........

Classic LeMans '18 - Booking details for Porsche Curves

Post by 23e Heure »

Sorry for being (uncharacteristically) late to the thread.
We have accommodation off site sorted and entry tickets too.

But are there any options for DDK infield parking this time?

<edit> sorry I see there’s some discussion of club infield parking earlier in the thread. I’m on my iPhone and on the hop in Hamburg so not getting all of it...

If there are any infield tickets available then please let me know, would be great to park up with the main contingent if we possibly can...

I don't believe you can get infield parking with TD for their parking at Bugatti unless part of the overall group, however I do know there is talk of 20 DDK'ers getting additional parking for Mulsanne / Arnage and meeting up there, I don't see any reason why you couldn't get one of these tickets either directly from the Le Mans website or through us? Might be easier to do through the Le Mans website but I suggest you PM James (hot66) as he has a much better idea of who's parking where and when.

Thanks Robin.

Can’t see parking options on the lemans website on my phone, but will look again tomorrow.

I was at the ACO shop in Paris last week, and they had a variety of parking tickets available, but stupidly I didn’t buy any, thinking “Nah, I expect the Ddk will have something better sorted so we can park together”

James: PM me if there’s another option, and if you rather stop me from filling this thread with waffle

James P - I bought Arnage / Mulsanne parking tickets with my entry ticket via the ACO site. Planning to meet up with the group there.
The force is strong in this one ......

Yes, as Feroz says, buy the Mulsanne / Arnage parking tickets direct from ACO . They are available here .... You need to double click on the parking map

https://ticket.lemans.org/mon-parking-classic

As we have no usual meet up, we could all arrange to meet at Mulsanne ... Problem is you never know withACO when they actually open the car parks on Friday as have been turned away before

Goody!

Great work Robin.....it'll be so nice not having to take a tent and having one ready erected and cosy for when we arrive! Do we get a choice of pillows?

I bet their Concierge is first rate too! :)

Cheers,

If only..... the event tents are seriously expensive.....more than our gang would want to afford.

Just back from a trip and checking in re tickets etc, and I thought the same for a moment.
Collecting ticket packs there seems a good option, eliminating the chance of me leaving them behind.

Sadly I've run out of time to get my 911 back on the road (again), so will be in something less suitable.
Thanks again Robin, and looking forward to meeting everyone there

Ladies & Gentlemen

Just a heads up for CLM now that the excitement is starting to build :)

Our sub group of 24 ish will hopefully arrive intact around 3/4pm on the Friday (old car gods willing), I will be bringing a facility to play music on the Friday evening/night which anyone can plug their phones into and play a set of their choosing, so if you appreciate music of any genre then sort yourself out a little playlist of stuff and you will have the opportunity to MC a slot. Should be a good evening of drinking and chatting, possibly dancing as well if you drink enough :drunken: :drunken: :drunken:

Beware Bootsy will be in charge of the clap-o-meter so if your chosen tunes don't stack up to his & Catherine's high expectations then the plug maybe pulled.

Should be a good evening

See you all there
Paul
