Great to meet up with everyone today, sorry I couldn't join you in the 996 Turbo, had to get back and do boring stuff. Lovely gathering of cars and people. Son Ben now hatching a plan to be the first University student to run a 2.4, might need a student discount on parts perhaps .... Shot by him on his iPhone:

Saturday.... perfect weather

well there is me back home sum 400 miles covered across to ripple valley then on to Kendal with john Vicky jonny and mike pissing down from around hawes great weekend was a fantastic turn out and some nice cars some of which I have never seen and there owners nice hotel and food for very good value well done james get some pics on lads as I don't (cannot) do that shite thanks rita and peter

Great to catch up with everyone and put some more faces to names.

Perfect location, nice weather, a great drive, good food and excellent company.

Thanks to everyone for a top weekend especially to James for for his organisation, a great job much appreciated by all.

I'll post a few pictures in the future events thread so the whole forum can share.

Great trip with some lovely northern sun to enjoy the roads.

Good to catch up with some familiar faces and meet new people and cars.

Now I just need to fix the car so I can use 5th and reverse gears again!

You'll be pleased to know that i managed to find my way home after getting lost, burnt more fuel than expected trying to keep up with John so needed to stop before i ran out of fuel, ended up driving to Thirsk ? in an effort to find you all as Rubbish mobile signal so no google maps, internet to look on here or ability to make calls.

Had a great time and think i managed to get a few average shots

Great weekend as they always are.

I said to the wife as we were following a dozen or more early cars down some spectacular roads that its great to be involved with such a great crowd.

Big thanks to James for organising another cracking weekend and John for photographing all our cars.

I hope the kids weren't too cheeky, I bet Peter won't ask Sophie to ride shotgun again. Talked his head off, apparently Peter could get a swear word in edge ways.
