Mike, I printed out the images in A3 and have spend way too much time looking at the stance. I agree, it’s slightly lower than I would want. Mine will be staying as is.

Wheels off to be balanced by a trusted tyre fitting company, happens to be a family friend which always helps.

Starting to use the car a bit now and really enjoying it. The annual Porsche in the Glen was fun this year, always enjoyable catching up with everyone. It was nice to take the car along and get some positive comments. Mike was good enough to point out I was missing a screwdriver from my tool rack, but equally pleased I still have the gloves.

Some pictures from the day, Mike 67S won the best car of the show. Top class.

Mike was having a quiet moment to himself when he won first prize, Derek Bell was happy to give him some time, Brendan less so.

Had the geometry checked on the car. I wasn't unhappy with the way the car felt but always like to know it is set up well. The company I use are good, more accustomed to setting up track cars and overly tuned Civics and similar. Really thorough guys who transformed my 930 when they set it up and did similar with the 993. It was nice to hear that they were astonished with the underside of the car, cleanest they have seen in a long time. :)

Readings below, not far off but they did correct some negative toe. Minor stuff and it did feel better on the journey home, subtle, sharper and more stable on relatively fast flowing roads. The turn in more accurate as well. Perhaps in the mind, in any event, it works for me.

Darren, thanks for the kind words. Have to say I have fallen for it as well, such a good car and an absolute delight to drive. :)

Grit is now everywhere in Scotland, I have had my car in and out of garages. It really is time to put it away for the winter, tonight was dry and cold so I managed to slide it to my mothers warm garage a few miles from where I live. Not a sound from the underside as I drove it slowly round, I hate salt.

Car is looking lovely Tom. Its a shame they salt the roads otherwise I would be tempted to use mine over the winter too!

Hi Tom,
Yet another thread that I have completely missed. Great looking car and the best colour! Congratulations. You have built a wonderful collection.
Kind regards
