My friend has a pair of correct year recaro sport seats that are being completely refurbished. I have even removed all the locking mechanism which is being re-plated. They are complete with tilting frames and all hardware (bolts). The seats are due to be re-covered over the next few weeks so if you are interested PM me as you could chose colour/material. He was going to get them done in full leather (black).
Thanks

Weeeelll - I've just taken these out of my RS as I had a guilt trip about not having the original vinyls in - funnilly enough, having put them back in - I love them!Beaks wrote:arghh .. not to worry , hopefully another shall emerge from somewhere !Tks.
I purchased them from Germany and the console's (seat base frames) are on one of the seats in excellent condition, on the other, currently being restored - complete with correct leather headrests - if you're interested, PM me - but they ain't cheap
Sorry the headrest is wonky on this one - it's not like that normally

The WW ones are comfortable - I run the Nurburgring ones and really like them.
and those new RS Touring ones would really fit the bill.

The immediate giveaway is that they have the large 'hinge' on both sides of the seats - original Porsche-fitment (& others) have these only on the outside (the side closest to the door) of each seat.
