Avatars - how ?
I'ma car badge nerd not a computer one - so how do turn a picture into one suitable for an Avatar please ?

It's pretty simple really. Get the picture of your choice and resize it to something suitable for an Avatar.
Then host it on a site such as photobucket.com
Then take the URL/address of the image (if you use photobucket you can copy the URL from one of the boxes under the hosted picture).
Then log into DDK, go to 'Profile' and past the address into the Avatar section at the bottom. Save and volia you'll have one!
