I e-mailed vincent (Porsche club France) about the tickets for the event on Friday. He replied yesterday saying that letters had been sent out over the weekend explaining how and where to pick the tickets up at the track as per 2004. I'll just have to wait a couple more days and see if a letter turns up. they're not really leaving much margin for error should things not go to plan.
Got my letter this morning . . . basically need to pay and collect tickets at Le mans . . . . the expo place.
Need the letter as proof of booking.
My opinion is (one ratified by Eion Sloane - Race Car reg sec), if the letter hasn't arrived by the time you leave, bring your PCGB membership card and any proof of your booking (photocopy of booking form, e-mail from Vincent) and you should be okay.

If I remeber from 2004, we struggled to get onto the campsite without our Classic Lemans Tickets, as technically maison Blanche is within the circuit.
We might need to think about collecting our tickets before getting to the campsite, unless our letter will allow us onto the campsite 1st?

Am I the only one here (who has a spouse accompanying them anyway!) puzzling about how to get everything required for 4 days camping in the car - especially in a speedster with an oversized fuel tank
I've fitted a luggage rack, made a cover for the brake servo under the bonnet so I can safely put luggage around it (brake lines were vunerable), and even removed the rear seat base and carpeted it to gain a couple of inches of height behind the seats - but am still concerned.....
Is it just me???

I'm going minimal - even given my buddy a 'baggage allowance' (kidding!!) and plan to buy stuff down there and leave it behind (barbie, booze etc etc)......
