Friday night dinner is always on the main street in Arnage - always a good show of cool cars etc- I'd booked a table for 7 at the same place I've used for the last few CLMs - arrived for 1930 to find the prefecture had closed the road from 1900 to 0100 both Friday and Saturday - although it was open for the 24h - where behaviour is aleays a lot worse.
So not just nothing to see - but a disaster for the Arnage businesses - bastards!!
Nonetheless we had a great time- so much so there are no food photos - but a group pic- Got back to hotel at 0000 so must have been good

Including a not good bid of NASCAR race - amazing noise!!
Spent most of the day in ACO grandstand or ACO members enclosure next to Goodyear
bridge - finding the amount of walking required still quite diificult ( sugery only four weeks ago)

CLM legends â good move IMO - definitely less people and fabulous cars- you do need to be able to get around to see everything and I'm just not up to it yet

Congrats on what you’ve been doing post surgery Clive. Inspiring. We certainly found the heat more tolerable in the Alps. Looking forward to the next instalment of this trip.
Great trip Clive. Does loaded into the ferry mean they lifted your car in the air?
We had a very nice French tasting menu in Hong Kong. Chef trained in Tokyo. I can see a French chef rolling his eyes but we enjoyed it
