Made it to Cotswolds tour and Prescott hill climb this weekend with (and thanks to) GavP. His suggested fix of removing wire to rev transducer / speed switch solenoid on the MFI cured my running issue.

I looked at going to Prescott myself but it did not seem to have any older cars or any racing cars and from your previous report I thought you probably would not go either

I went to see that at "Race the Waves" at Bridlington last Sunday, some great 50's Hot Rods racing as well.
