Good point I'll do that as well - when I get back from Snowden!

If you can, check each exhaust primary to see if they get equally hot. IR temp gun or even a squirt of water.

Air leak definitely worth checking for.

All good stuff but I'll be judging it after I get at that injector. I'm hoping that is the smoking gun

I have a heat gun I can drop round on Monday if needed- just let me know. Will also be with me this weekend if you pass me on the way back from Snowdonia!

Thanks Wayne. I think I’ve got one somewhere as well. But I’m still focussing on the injector initially

Managed to grab 10 minutes last night so took the injectors out on the right hand side

Offending one looks filthy. I’m guessing the others will be too

I’ve got an injector cleaner kit but also today a new injector arrived. Looks like a good match to what is in there

I won’t have a chance to fit it until Monday night. Now wondering whether to order 5 more and hope they arrive in time…..

I had the current injectors all professionally cleaned but that was about 12-15 years ago.

F*ck it. Just ordered another 5 injectors.

If I run out of time before then I can always pop them in during the trip

That’s quite a difference. If nothing else, those old rubber seals look a little flat and not very “sealy”. If you can, I would (but I’ve been known to throw parts at my car in the past!)

Is the problem injector the one we was using for most of the testing?

Bugger - that would have saved me 300 - but the delivery is after I’ve left so no good

I'd imagine they're coming in from China, so may not be much cop. But the seller does has good feedback.
