Trying to be a bit helpful this time around. Correct me if I’m wrong, you’re not trying to create the annual sticker that comes with the annual subs, so just having ‘DDK 2024’ as the text seems to slightly duplicate that.

If the sticker is more for the annual meet I think it makes sense to perhaps use that for the copy, so ‘DDK Annual Meet 2024’ or as you have it ‘DDK Meet 2024’

or if the location changes each year, drop the location in, so…

‘DDK Annual Meet, Bicester 2024’.

You can then use that taxonomy for subsequent years, so…

‘DDK Annual Meet, Dai’s Farm 2025’.

Just a thought

Valid point, yeh this is just for this event nothing else. Fully open to all suggestions, I’m not the most creative type.

Maybe it’s an optical illusion caused by the heavy black shading but the early 911 looks too long and squashed to me.

Each to their own

Having been to Dai’s Dad’s a few times I don’t remember ever actually seeing any sheep but I was always too busy going through the barns filled with various bits of metal that be resembled aircooled Porsches and Volkswagens haha! But sure he can put a sheep in the van to bring with him this year if you wish :)

I think it is just an optical illusion, possibly because the sill is too high as it’s an image I have had to butcher to make work.

I’m not sure I like the spacing out of the words either side of the wheels. I’m thinking simpler may be neater ??

The Great Big DDK Meet of 2024!!!

Post by Spit Nolan »

My apologies for constantly posting…. But I think after some refining I reckon I’ve got the car right now. If I got these printed would everyone attending want one?

Then next question… glossy or soft touche matte ??

Heads up that hotel booking at the special rate is now over, hotel now resorts back to standard pricing.

Looks like everyone who wanted it has managed to book in off the original list except for one.
Huge thank you to Clive - Anglophone1 for organising the hotel and getting a special rate for us.

Regarding the meal - a bit closer to the time the menu will be made available to all who require it for booking. Those with an overnight room have already got the meal included in their price. For the rest a reminder that the meal is £35 per person, menu and booking will be communicated at a later date.

Cheers all.

Ok, yes, put me +1 down for the meal also. Need to work out what to do with Starsky (the dog), but we'll figure that out later :) Image
