'72 Targa wind noise between bottom of quarterlight and A Pillar

Post by cschmueck »

I have a high level of wind noise in my Targa. It is coming from a gap between door and A Pillar where the windscreen frame seal meets the door seal. There is a see through gap. I have managed to contain it with a piece of plasticine, but now looking for amore professional solution. I have found a "bridging" piece (91153171140) used in late Targas and convertibles that looks like it is designed for the purpose- I have attached some screenshots for identification.
Has anybody here fitted this? If so, does it work? Thanks!

common thing with our early cars . Gary I think fitted a 964 seal item which is redesigned for his coupe. I'm not sure on the situation with the targa only items .
