13 degrees Celsius and sunny today so took my car out for a final run for the year. Loved it.

I decided to remove the heating ducts from the blower. They don't add much heat and block air from getting into the fan.Image

Stuck the winter wheels on the Macan. Found a stripped thread in the rear hub so that's going to have to be sorted ASAFP.

Nice! Did you do that by hand or do you have a milling machine?

That looks cool! You did well not to damage the surface finish

I saw that video. What are your plans? How much more power are you after?

I decided to remove the blower from the engine bay. After removing the hoses. Fortunately, I noticed that the rain tray funnel was broken and that water was sitting in the bottom of the engine bay. I cleaned it and the otherside. Then I used my heater to dry it out. I used some rust repair. Looks like I got it before damage. New funnel and hose ordered.

I bought some rubber mat so replace the boot map. I used it as a template to cut a new boot mat. I also had some spare so that I now have a cover for the engine bay. The car lives outside over a cover but this will be extra protection ImageImageImageImage

While the rest of the house was asleep I thought I would create a repair back for the broken funnel. I have a new funnel on order so this is completely unnecessary. Does look pretty but will work is needed ImageImage

Boxing Day Members track afternoon at Curborough.

Four runs for £10 cannot be argued with. And some nice chats and coffee from the chuck wagon. Bliss.

New clutch, MFI tune and most of the electrics being replaced have left the car with amazing pick up and power. Lots of performance for me to catch up with on warmer tarmac. Gradually!
