I remember Martin as I bought some bits off him for the 914, and visited his house - he had a very cool car collection and was building a lovely Ghia for his wife.

It was down south somewhere IIRC, whereas that pic is taken about 3 miles from where I live now. Wonder how that came about

Yes but I was wondering what had happened to it in the intervening 13 yrs or so.

I realise that I incorrectly referred to it as 'Martin's '66 911S' but back when he owned it that's how it was usually described - I seem to remember it was amongst the first few hundred built in Aug '66 ...
