Please forgive this video!

Post by 911hillclimber »

Many must follow the various projects to be found on classic cars on YouTube, but Jeff down in Australia, a fireman by profession, has done several cars inc a modified 911 (etc).
His latest is a Ferrari engined Alfa coupe, and he has just posted on UT the 'summary' of a remarkable rebuild and modification of the Alfa. I am in awe of such skills, determination and outlook of a bloke in a (large) garage doing this sort of thing so well and with so much DIY rather than cheque book/ specialist action.

If you have missed it, please look at this summary/precis of the Afla build.

I remember watching his 911 build a while back too

The guy is incredibly talented…seemingly nothing he can’t put his hand too..

I wonder if it has been done before…given the huge amount of fabrication I guess not? He certainly out with a vision and just figured it out on the fly.

My only criticism…in accommodating the Ferrari lump the bonnet bulge fabrication wasn’t to my taste, but I’m not sure how it could have been done better?

I'm an avid follower of Jeff, so much so that I tried to buy the Datsun 240Z that he created!
His open mind with nothing holding him back is a perfect example of 'just do it'!

Another site on YouTube site that's worth watching (IMHO) is Barum Engines, just for an insight of what is done, how it's done and what can be done with engines.Engines have varied from 750cc racers through Landies and V8 monsters. and he's done a few Porkers as well.
