I see Jonathan's E-Type is done. All that time spent on the panel gaps paid off...

After years of quibbling, I recently bought a 4L.
I owned one when I lived 94 and 95 in Avignon, and this purchase is obviously a nostalgia trip:
A 50th birthday present to myself.

It’s in great condition, recently restored/ overhauled.
It will live at my folks place in Brittany, my kids can learn to drive on early morning runs to the boulangerie!

I’ll be pimping it up a bit. Roof rack. Alpine wheels. Etc.

For now the bike can fit in the back.
I took it out for a dawn ride along the misty canal de Nantes a Brest.

Is that a baguette in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?

I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

I, too, have a constant/nagging urge to get another R4 having owned 4 in the past (including 2 vans) - don't know if I'll be able to hold out much longer ...

I had a go in a Renault 4 in the summer. It was 3 speed and I think the owner said it had 24 bhp.

It wasn’t a particularly fast thing.
