My uncle had the bigger Allis Chalmers WF that came over in 1942 on the American Lend-Lease scheme. It was the only tractor on his farm until the early 1960’s

Or a 212, but what lovely cars they are, a few rungs up the ladder from my 492! (or maybe 10 rungs...)

Yup, belonged to Michel Hommell - had its own race circuit and plenty of Ferraris, too. Michel also used to be a magazine publisher – I had an interview with him in Paris one time with a view to launching a new mag in the UK. I believe he has now sold the museum/circuit complex. He also built a limited run of sportsters bearing his name:
