Went for a drive / fiddle with the MFI this evening, got stuck in pretty much standstill traffic for an hour to go one junction on the M25.

Had to go VW Beetle and crawl along with the deck lid open. That'll bloody learn me, should have gone with plan A and driven to the pub!

Went for a drive in the new forest, heard a little pop sound in the cabin then smoke ! Culprit - bare wiring from the heater unit had loosened and short circuited. They are old cars, these things happen as my mate said !

Always fun when the smoke escapes from the wires :)

First run of the day. 2nd last i n the GT category. Lets see if I can take some time off in the final practice run. The hill is steep and twisty. I'm struggling to get out of 2nd. Keith is about 25 secs faster but competing against Porsche Cup Cars and GT4 Cayman! Lots of waiting around m. Mrs B isn't happy Image
