Vintage Bucket Seats

Post by graybum »

I've decided that I'm never going to use any of these seats, and that they're just taking up room really.

Not sure what they're worth, but any money raised by their sale will be donated to the DEC Turkey - Syria Earthquake Appeal

To stick within forum rules, how about £150 for a pair, and £50 for the single seat?

I'll take the 1st pair with the riveted holes. Happy to pay now if you are happy to wait until I'm next your way in the next week or 3 to pick up?

Depends how old they are - my guess would be Paddy Hopkirk but if they're more recent I'd say Corbeau (Alpines) ...

Who manufactured the seats for Paddy Hopkirk? What are they made of? Fibreglass or steel frame?

For those who’ve asked, I can’t see any markings on pair #2 so no idea who made them. Pretty sure they’re tubular metal construction if that helps.

The seats are 690mm tall including the headrest at their lowest position, 475mm at their widest point, and 280mm in between the bolsters on the seat base.

The four mounting points on the base are 330mm apart front to back, and 285mm apart side to side.

Nothing received?

I've just cleared out a few old messages in case that was the problem, so maybe give it another go.
