Washers for wings bolts

Post by leedurrant73 »

Hello,

I’ve noticed you can buy a set of front wing replacement “k” bolts with the fibre and metal washers.

Does anyone sell the fibre and metal washers separately as I have the original “Bolts?

Also looking for the thin washers for the door hinges
Can anyone advise on these parts?

Thanks Lee

When I re-did my body 3 years ago I found mine i think on ebay, but have you looked at Design911/type911 and even asked an OPC?
The washers are very thick so are non standard, the fibre washers are easy to find but tend to be soft red fibre type that tear easy so beware of ebay stuff.

Hi Lee,
You can try Gary Cook re the washers. I found a company that made a batch of red washers to spec and Gary paid for the batch to use on his builds. He probably has some available.

Kind regards

Thanks buddy….Hey, one other question.

Can you buy separate the small washers that are used with the door hinge bolts?
They have a pattern on them?

Thanks Lee

.

I think you'll find they're actually called schnorr washers ...

Happy Christmas guys…..

I don’t have access to my door hinge bolts and schnorr washers. Does anyone know what size the washers are?

Are they M6 or M8 etc ?

Need to buy a few as I have some missing

Thanks Lee
