Thoughtful to give the passenger a Nintendo Game and Watch to keep them amused as you potter round.

Got my first new Porsche yesterday. I know the lack of oily bits divides opinion but gotta say so far I love it. As a daily driver that is. Still need many carbs in my life!

Cut my first left hand thread to extend the thread on my linkage rod. Unfortunately I missed placed the nut so I had order some new ones. 10 mins in the garage after spending the week in bed with covidImage

Heat insulating spacers in and carbs balanced. Idling a bit low but I will do a tune up after I add the CDI system.

Anyone know what size thread for the bolt that holds the fan pan in? I'm missing oneImageImage

It's nothing special - just an M6 thread (ie, 10mm spanner size...).

Out into the byways of Oxfordshire: although this is the edge of a field convenient for a Jimmy Riddle. Sad to see the car go if anyone wants a 993? Image

Thank you. New one fitted. I could only get them in 16mm length so I cut it down to about 10mm. I wasn't completely sure that too long but wouldn't interfer with the fan but since the fan fits inside the be pan I think I'm being silly.

I didn't have any black paint left so that is a job for another time
