Changing flexi fuel pipe at rear of 911T

Post by veryporky »

Wondering what it's like to change the flexible fuel pipe at the rear of a 1970 911 T. I remember a specialist who when referring to an mfi car said it was difficult/impossible with the engine and box still in due to limited access. But that car is a different arrangement, I think it would have 2 fuel lines as the injection uses a return pipe. I think the Weber setup uses only 1. Anybody done it on a T without removing the engine/trans :?: :?:

I’ve just changed both flexible fuel lines from the hard tunnel to the fuel filter in the engine bay on a MFI car without removing the engine and box. Bit of a scrap with access but nothing too bad.
