Re: non Porsche vid of the day!
I went down a rabbit hole from looking at the 1989 Carrera for sale (very nice) and found this and thought it might amuse someone if I reposted it here

Re: non Porsche vid of the day!
He turned off all driver aids before setting out - no experience of the car or driving on track. Just wanted to impress his friend and paid the price for proving he's not the hotshot driver he thought he was. Cold summer tyres on a cold track.

I thought he seemed pretty humble, and his immediate ask was "Are you ok, John?". Scary how quickly it can all go wrong.KS wrote:He turned off all driver aids before setting out - no experience of the car or driving on track. Maybe I'm not allowed to say this as an ex Christian but it's pity God didnt tell him to warm the tyres and do a few steady laps before gunning it.
