Re: Classics at the Castle Sunday 12th September
I haven't but Bruce got his the same day he ordered. I mailed club office per extract of e-mail I received yesterday:
"After making your booking, you should have received an eTicket, similar to the example here.

This will need to be shown at your entrance gate in order to gain access to the event. If you have not received your eTicket, please email cluboffice@porscheclubgb.com by 5pm on Friday, 10 September."
Haven't heard back yet...

I phoned the club today as hadn't got mine.
Appears there is a 'system glitch' with some bookings, but got my email with e-tickets sent out immediately.

No e-ticket here (booked months ago), auto reply to follow up email says expect delayed response so please phone instead, phone number provided seems permanently engaged. I'm imagining they'll let me in with just the order confirmation if not sorted by Sunday... if not, I'll wave to you all from outside the gate as you drive past.

I called them, got through straight away and they sent me an e-ticket.yoda wrote:I booked earlier and received an order confirmation but no e-ticket (yet).

Classics at the Castle Sunday 12th September
What’s the collective noun here? “A Karmann of 356s”?
I’ve still not actually driven a 356? Are they in any way agricultural as compared to a 911 or 914?
Total insured value…?
DDKers considering a “How to hotwire” demonstration
The Okrasa special. My first time seeing it in the flesh. Proper stuff

What a great weekend …. Set off early Saturday heading off to Santapod to meet a few Ddkers for the Euros. Big crowds and was great to see the top fuelers/ funny cars and pro mods back out on track.
Had a nice stop over for a few beers at a pub with Thai restaurant and then up early Sunday morning for a steady run ( how many cameras do they have down there now !! ) to hedingham.
The show itself was wonderful, reminded me of the early ones where it just felt like a nice laidback gathering of early Porsche fans.
Unfortunately for me, I was called at lunch time that I was needed back in North Yorkshire for prom duty at 5pm !! So quick blast back up from essex for that … eventually the old yellow car got put back in the garage at 9pm having covered some good miles over the weekend
Enroute
Good to be back at the pod
Well deserved Post prom pint
