All the easier for ripping out for another show-shed for another car…
Great pics, great posh-shed too
But I fear that the shed was not designed for cars and it has another purpose.

Green with envy - awesome. I know it's not built for it but still... one day you never know ;)

I think a frank discussion is required given how wonderful those images are.

....sad but true Tosh and room will have a far more mundane use :?

Still, an empty posh shed, a bright orange old 911 and glorious weather was just too good a photo op to pass up and the car does look good in that setting :thumbright:

Osnabrück –'fours' ready to ship.

You'd think the cars in the foreground were destined for the USA – note side marker lights, but also the 'Porsche' script on the engine lid of the second car in line – but the car nearest the camera has amber/white European turn signal lenses. Note that this same car also has a passenger door mirror fitted. Silver car is non-appearance group with bare sail panels...

The cars in the second row are European-spec, with no 'Porsche' script. Fourth (orange) car in line has bare sail panels.

Some of the cars on the train appear to have optional fog lights fitted, although the white one doesn't have the appearance group vinyl-covered sail panels. Customer saving money in one area to spend it in another?

Also note that some cars have their mirrors folded back )logical, to protect the glass) but several have the mirrors folded forward...

Love old factory photos...

Note that it is raining.
Despite having brand new seals, and factory shut lines (ahem), this means that all cars pictured will have water ingress somewhere in the cabin.

Ref Display room in the Garden:
Isn't it stinking hot when all closed up?
Massive greenhouse unless with blinds and venting, but I guess that is all built-in nowadays!

maverick
noun
1. an unorthodox or independent-minded person.
2. an unbranded calf or yearling.
Origin mid 19th century: from the name of Samuel A. Maverick (1803–70), a Texas rancher who did not brand his cattle.

The tall chap on the left is Bjorn Waldegard, the gent beside him has an armband so is probably a sponsor (Gulf) or the like. On his left in the racing overalls is Vic Elford.
Cheers
