Free door cards

Post by Ralph »

Tidying up in the shed at the weekend and unearthed these:

A bit ropey but if they are of use to anyone?

I know the speaker holes might put some people off but the lower dash is the same material as the door cards and they would be great for making a couple of sets of original, period lower dash pieces if someone doesn’t want them as door cards. Someone restoring a car to original spec could find these very useful.

I was hoping to practice trying to dye a set of lower dash pieces red at some point and these would be ideal. However, it would be much better if someone could use as-is for the doors or dash but if no one steps up to the plate I’ll take them Ralph. Happy to pay for your time, full post costs and a donation to the DDK charity if they remain unspoken for.

Regards
Mike

I have received the door cards Ralph today and made a donation to our charity. Thanks very much.

Andrew

I was going to cut these up into lower dash pieces for a trial with red dye but if you are in need of them for your car complete I will post them on to you FOC as it’s a much more worthwhile use of them. Pm me your address.

Regards
Mike

Mike, if you send those to Andrew then I will send one (I only have one) almost identical one to you FOC. I had been wondering what to do with it!

That's great Mike - unfortunately we had just had our TNT collection at work when I read Andrew's message.
