PCGB - Goodwood 'KG' Event - Aug 17th 2019

I'm picking my '12 up on Friday so plan to attend. Hopefully there'll be a DDK corner!

I was hoping to attend the display element of the event at the circuit with my 'KG' 912, but wasn't sure whether I needed a ticket.
I emailed the PCGB event manager almost a week ago but still had no response.

I haven't had a PCGB membership for a few years so wanted to clarify I could attend.

Does anyone know whether you can just turn up on the gate or do you need a ticket?
Also does anyone know the times etc?

It all seems a bit poorly managed.

You don't need to be a member. Best thing is to ring the club house – far more likely to get the info you need straight away.

Just had this through today....

We’re looking forward to seeing you at our KG Event on Saturday, 17th August. A windshield sticker is being posted out to you today which will provide your Porsche with exclusive display parking in the legendary Goodwood paddocks.

Paddock parking will only be permitted by display of the sticker in a pre-’74 KG Porsche. Parking marshals will be on hand to direct you to the appropriate area.

The timetable for the day is as follows:

Paddock arrival time: 10.00
Paddock departure time: 16.00

Autojumble: 10.00 - 16.00

Limited parking for non-KG vehicles is available at the Goodwood Motor Circuit Café (open 08:30 to 17:00)

If you wish to observe the trackday action, Porsches will be circulating throughout the day with a mandatory lunch break from 12:30 to 13:30 when we will take all Paddock parked Porsches who wish to onto the start finish straight for a commemorative photo and parade lap.

Hopefully see a few there...

We’ll be there rain or shine - Trish says she’s driving the parade lap. We’re seeing Rod Emory talk on the Friday too. We’ll look out for you - Graphite Metallic - ‘A’ as well.

Fight with the traffic on Friday.
Driving up from Cornwall and attending whatever the weather. Hotel in Hamble Friday night, then Saturday Paddock parking (with sticker) Attending the BBQ at the Kennels then treating Mrs P to a night at the Goodwood Hotel.

I have my sticker...but little appetite if the weather is poor. We'll have to see nearer the time. It's a shame, but a day out in the rain won't be fun.
