I remember the German village at Epynt very well did service for a Lotus Cortina and Cooper S many times!

Village is still there, but the hill's return road is now very short so you don't get to go past it.

When I did it the return road was partly on public roads!

I’m trying not to say that was the time rallies really were rallies with interesting cars.

Brings back memoreis of proper rallying!

My Dad's mate used to co-drive for Tony Pond and Jimmy McRae in the late 70's / early 80's so my Dad used to take us to see them on RAc stages up in the North - Knowsley Safari Park, Harewood Hill, Grisedale Forest, Haigh Hall in Wigan etc. Good times!
