Does anyone know what colour this is?
Looks superb - thinking it might be in the running for Amie's 356 Coupe..
It’s danny’s Car

He calls it stone gray, it is a stunning colour!, (it has been known as baby poo beige, polo beige, and other such colours when on flat 4 outings).

'Thought you'd like that Steve. I didn't recognise the number plate but I knew it was your old car from the 7's on the rear. :)

Unfortunately the 356c owner (Mike and Wife) had broken down on route to the Hub. Culprit being a seized dynamo. Me, Danny and friend stopped to give a helping hand. As light as we think these cars are, it wasn’t so light pushing it up the hill to a safe place. How’s your calves Danny ;-).
We got some tools from the Orginisers and went back to disconnect the dynamo belt to at least get him to Hub only being 2-3 miles away. You snapped us coming in.

First time at the event for me also. Seen a few cars with Ddk stickers but couldn’t put faces to the cars to have a chat. Defo worth thinking of having a Ddk meet there. Might even be worth including a pit stop on the flat 4 drive out?, Danny, Neil..

Overall really enjoyed it and the weather just held out, and thanks for sharing the pics.

I went along expecting to see some modern Porsche's but there was also a good turnout of air-cooled and to my great delight a lot of old friends from DDK were there. You may recognise some of the cars. Apologies to those DDK owners represented that I didn't know or get to chat to. Here's some photographs for those gentlemen that were being smothered with affection from their offspring and couldn't make it...

Great pics Paul, we really enjoyed it. Not just looking at our favorite marque but all those lovely cars inside. Nice pic of my DDk stickers collection. Perhaps next time we can arrange a meet up time.

The meet had a really nice friendly atmosphere to it, quite a bit of interest in our 914, mind you we were the only one there!!

It was a great morning out. Thanks for the great pictures Paul and yep it was good to catch up with everybody. The Hub is a great location and the cars and coffee on the first Sunday of the month is a great event- some truly remarkable cars just turn up! What’s not to like about an old Spitfire base repurposed for classic cars!

Darren,
I have your Mulsanne parking ticket, shall I print it and bring it with me or do you want me to email it over? Not long til CLM......
