I seriously doubt that at the factory someone said 'on ziss bleck grrril ve vill heff ze silver scrrews' - more likely they use the screws they have - if they don't have black they use silver.

Personaly I think they should be black from an asthetic point of view .. would be interesting to know if production cars had black screw heads though. Assume '72 used silver so mayve the brochure car used up the old stock ?
