Selling with a dealer

Post by nickT »

Hi, having thoughts of selling my 912 and was wondering what i could expect if i sold through a dealer / trader.
Any first hand experiences, do's and dont's. What would i expect to pay in fees etc.

Cheers, Nick.

Of course the obvious thing to do but at the moment the car is in one place, i am in another and finding time to fit in viewings, at least at the moment, would be tricky.

10%+VAT was the going rate 5 years ago when I last did it.

It's a great option if you choose carefully, as it takes all the hassle out and they ought to add more than that to the value if they're good.

From where you are it's not far to: http://www.avantgardecars.co.uk/cars/ and Jon Aucott is a gentleman. Even if you don't end up using him it's worth the trip to see the cars he has that he doesn't advertise because he can't bear to part with them, including a nice RS.
