Anybody Else Get The Porsche Classic book in the post??
A pleasant surprise in the post yesterday, lovely hard back book from Porsche, which I didn't ask for! Basically it's a showcase for them and their products but it's rather nice!!!
Not sure if it's related to KSs' magazine or my old subscription to PCGB???

Yes I was given one by an OPC. This is I think the second edition as I have one from a few years ago. Sounds like you have a local OPC where you have purchased "classic" parts.

I received a couple, one from local OPC. I thought the second was a national thing but not sure.
Nice bit of marketing.

Erm. Well....I haven't spent a bean at Leeds OPC, they have my name though from somewhere! The book was posted from London but the covering letter inside is from Leeds.andytat wrote:and for me £25k+ at Solihull also wan't enough
The cover has an engineering diagram of a four cam engine, the inside is all glossy and covers from 1950 to the 993 as well as front engined stuff!!
It was gift wrapped in Porsche wrapping paper so very seasonal!

Has it got a part number on the back? Then I can ask my local OPC about it.

Thanks Keith, just found it on the Porsche website, it's available there as an online catalogue.

Have asked my contact to see if she can get me one too, if not I hope they have them at Revival '17!

Send me something for postage and you can have it - it will only sit and gather dust on a shelf otherwise...
