Now sold 1972, RHD, 2.7 MFI Twinspark, 911RS lightweight rep

Post by Andy-O »

Now sold

Dear all-

I am putting my 1972, RHD, 2.7 MFI Twinspark, 911 (RS lightweight rep) up for sale and thought I'd offer it here before I unleash it on the rest of the world... The car was imported from South Africa where it was originally sold all those years ago. She started life as a Signal Yellow 911T/V but was subject to an RS conversion from ground upwards some 11 years ago and has since covered 50 kilometers. More recently she has received an engine rebuild which also included replacing the ignition system. The, absolutely rust free body, is resplendent in striking Porsche Viper Green paint; the deck lid, front/ rear bumpers are grp, the bonnet is carbon fiber. The rear seats are removed and a half roll cage is fitted, with Cobra Classic RSR seats in the front and a beautiful RSR steering wheel to hang on to! The engine is a lively 2.7 MFI twinspark, high compression unit which, coupled with such a light body produces quite a spirited drive. The car is beautiful, fairly loud, raw and fast (in that scary, seat of your pants, classic car fast way!). Hard to price these cars but I have recently seen similar 911's currently for sale, although backdated and running 3.2 units, on for £90K+ so I think that £90K would be a good starting point.

No offense guys but I'm trying to sell a car here. If you want to discuss forum etiquette then may I suggest you start your own post in the chit-chat section. You are coming across a little troll'ish....

Regards-

Andy

Not really. I think the point is that trying to sell as the opening gambit never goes down well.
Car does look good though! :)

Locking post - as Gary mentioned we prefer for somebody to introduce themselves rather than just use the forum purely to sell. Good luck with the sale
