Agreed Value

Post by 67Matt »

Hi, wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for an agreed valuation? My 67 RHD 912 is nearing the end of a 2 year restoration, and I only have it covered for £20k at present, which seems a bit on the low side (better be anyway given the amount I've spent!). My insurer (RH) state that 'An agreed value is subject to a recognised independent or expert club valuation'. Any advice appreciated as always.
Many thanks,
Matt

Where abouts in the country are you? Max from Revival cars may be able to help or maybe another of the specialists such as Andy Prill, PRS, or canford classics? or perhaps if you have a local car club they may be able to offer this service? Probably worth just calling a few people and see what they say.

Or you could just look at Hagety

Max at Revival supplied me a current valuation after I pick the car up from having a bit work done a few weeks ago. I called up Hagerty's to update them they said fine. Simply as that.

Cost me another £14 a year on my premium which was a bargain I thought.
