if everything works, and you just want to take them apart and clean and paint the rims, and the glass/faces, thats quite easy to do yourself. You can do 5 gauges pulled, cleaned and fitted in say 8 - 10 hours, and all for less than about £2 in consumables...

Try Julian Reap in uk. Did mine, was very happy with them and the service. North Hollywodd Speedos have a good rep too, but haven't used them.

I've used both and would send to North Holywood Speedos - excellent work and service.

I met this guy -http://www.oldtimer.net/firma/elektrik/ ... 07418.html

At spa last year - restores VW and Porsche gauges, he wanted about £400 to restore all 5 gauges inc the clock going to a special is clock restorer and recalibration / restoring damping in the rev counter

Not sent my gauges to him yet but planning to :)

We use a guy in the Netherlands called Hans Peters, he was recommended by Max@Revival and results are stunning, he will carry out different levels of refurb and everything comes with full detailed reports, pictures, findings etc :)

Interesting.
Do you have a contact address for Hans Peter and what did you think of his delivery time/cost?

Everything on his site, he is very thorough and will ask you lots of questions to gauge how far you want to go with "the instruments" as he calls them
