New to here and new to Porsche
Well after many years of red prancing horses we have now added our first Porsche to the fold in the shape of a 1966 LHD matching numbers 912 with sunroof
will start the restoration thread later as total rebuild required and look forward to talking to you all going forward, lots of advice will be needed I'm sure but from just a few weeks searching on here I can see problem solving won't be an issue...

Welcome. 66 912 is a great choice

Yes they are genuine and thought they might have been special as have had a lot if interest in them before the car had even arrived in the UK....cubist wrote:Welcome... Never part with those cosmics if they're genuine!

Re: New to here and new to Porsche
Just wanted to say a quick hello as I can't be far from you (I live in Bainton).
I have a RHD 67 912 which has been at the bodyshop for the past 14 months undergoing an extensive restoration - went to see it last night for the first time since it was sprayed (silver) and it looks incredible. Can't wait to get it back home now and start re-assembling!
Delighted to have a fellow owner nearby.
