Another thought. The Green Cross Inn near Goudhurst. Decent pub with good food. Next to an old style garage that looks after Rollers.

So far we have a couple of suggested places to meet on the 28th

Tender ton

Goudhurst - green cross inn

Any suggestions from interested parties a little further east?

Would like to firm up location and time by end of Wed if possible

Cheers

Shelly's Tea Rooms in Chilham which is between Canterbury and Ashford on the A252.
They are open from 10am on Sunday

Living in Tenterden, I can only agree that it's a nice place and they have a steam railway you could meet at. If nothing else it has a car park.

Very unfortunately, I can't make the 28th, as my daughter is getting married the day before and frankly, I'll be unfit to drive anywhere on the Sunday! But if this is a success I'll be up for the next meeting just as long as my rather modern 964 will be made welcome.

Or,
The Bakehouse in Biddenden. They are open from 0800 according to their website and there is a small carpark opposite.

So we have a number of options the majority of which seem to be around Tenderton,

The bakehouse in Bindenden could be a good central place to meet which is just north of Tenderton, so should keep everyone happy, also open from 8 and has a car park opposite which I think is a good start. We can then take things from there.

To beat the early morning traffic, I'm happy to meet early, let's go for an 08:30 meet.

Let's firm up numbers
