If it's solid and has decent paint it might not be a bad starting point of a cheap backdate with further fettling and alterations.

There was an even nicer (IMHO) sepia brown SC "RS" rep on ebay a couple of weeks back - previously discussed on DDK i think.
I certainly believe that, for many of us, such cars represent a good way into (or back into) experiencing early 911 ownership where ya might want to build in your own requirements/tastes etc over time.
That's what I hope to do at some point in the future .....

Agreed. For some of us, it's the ONLY way back in. Pre-73 cars are way beyond my means now.
