Re: Speed Yellow Hot Rod 911
They`re lovely. I always think houndstooth can be very unforgiving as an upholstery material but that`s a lovely crisp job.

Re: Speed Yellow Hot Rod 911
Frameless quarter windows are being bonded into today.
These are the oversized ones with a 'biscuit tin' lip.
We've had much debate about how the aperture should be finished to make the install as neat as possible.
You could leave the lip of the aperture in body colour was the first thought. As seen here when the windows were offered up for trial fitting.
However I wasn't sure on this as the finish of the lip is never going to be too tidy and any materials you use for the bonding will show.
So we decided to paint the lip in a special matt paint. Special in that its used by windscreen fitters and still allows for silicone adherence. This way you end up with a neater finished look. We have also run a small strip of matt black tape around the inner window lip to keep everything tidy without the bonding material being shown.
The rough edge you can see inside will go once trim is reinstalled.
